Robert D. Coglianese, of Elgin passed away at his home May 20, 2020.  Born June 1, 1957 in Argentina to the late Vinvenzo Coglianese and Barbara Coglianses nee Campise.  Beloved husband of Ana; loving father of Michael (Jenna) Coglianese, Natalie Coglianese, Mikey (Alejandria) Cervantes, Jossie Cervantes, and Jesus Cervantes; proud grandfather of Jalexii Hampton and Roselia Cervantes; dear brother of Pete (Connie) Coglianese and Anna (Eric) Wollenschlager; fond uncle of Justin Wollenschlager, Rachel Wollenschlager, Zachary Wollenschlager, Cameron Wollenschlager, Arianna Coglianese, Anthony Coglianese and Alexa Coglianese.  Robert achieved his first bachelor’s degree for the University of Wisconsin and continued his educational career by obtaining a second bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University in Illinois.  Robert was a wonderful, kindhearted, hard working man.  He loved his family with all his heart and made them his priority.  He enjoyed watching movies with his wife and children.  He will be missed by so many; words cannot describe the love Robert could make his family feel and how kind and caring he was.

A visitation to honor the life of Robert Coglianese will be held Sunday May 24, 2020 from 1-4pm at Dundee Funeral Home, 525 Dundee Ave. East Dundee IL 60118. ( Across From The Dundee Township Cemetery East On Rt. 25 & Higgins Rd. )
