Brenda J. Liddell - Turner

Brenda Liddell-Turner was born May 17, 1952, in St. Petersburg, Florida. She departed peacefully surrounded by family on January 8th, 2025. She was the beloved daughter of James T. Pringle and Sallie Mae Davis and was raised in Evanston, Illinois, by her father and step-mother, Thelma Pringle, following her mother’s passing.

Brenda attended Evanston Township High School and went on to create a beautiful and fulfilling life centered around her family. She has two children Traci M. Liddell and Rodney C. Harper. In 1992, she met her loving partner, Byron Bridges. They shared three children, Shania Bridges, Raymone Bridges, and Brandon Bridges.

Brenda was a devoted mother, daughter, and sister who found joy in spending time with her family, traveling, and dancing. Her warmth, love, and spirit will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Sallie Mae, her step-mother Thelma, and her three siblings Tony, James Edward and Lois. Brenda leaves to cherish her memory with her loving partner, Byron Bridges; Her beautiful children Traci, Rodney, Shania, Raymone, and Brandon. Her three stepchildren Price, Byron and Talatha; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Brittani, Sariyah, and Elliott; her three siblings Andre, James, Betty, and a host of other beloved relatives and friends.

Brenda’s legacy of love and devotion to her family will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know her.
