Belem Moreno

It is with deep sadness, we announce the passing of Belem Moreno, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, who peacefully departed at the age of 98 on October 6, 2024. 

Born on December 3, 1925, in San Luis Potosí, Belem lived a remarkable life filled with love, resilience, and kindness. She dedicated herself to her family, raising seven children and nurturing countless grandchildren and great-grandchildren, each of whom she cherished deeply. Her warm spirit and unconditional support left a legacy of love that will be felt for generations. Throughout her life, Belem was a source of inspiration, teaching us the value of hard work, kindness, and the importance of family. 

She is survived by her children Teresa, Marta, Rosa, Ana, Juan, Oscar, and Fausto; her 18 grandchildren; her great-grandchildren; and many friends who will miss her dearly. A memorial service will be held on October 13 at 525 Dundee Ave., East Dundee, IL, starting at 12 PM. 

The spirit of Belem will live on forever in our hearts, reminding us to treasure each moment and love fervently."

"Con profunda tristeza, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Belem Moreno, una querida madre, abuela, bisabuela y amiga, quien partió en paz a la edad de 98 años el 6 de Octubre del año 2024. Nacida el 3 de Diciembre del 1925, en San Luis Potosi, Belem vivió una vida notable llena de amor, resiliencia y bondad. Se dedicó a su familia, criando a 7 hijos y nutriendo a innumerables nietos y bisnietos, cada uno de los cuales atesoraba profundamente. Su cálido espíritu y apoyo incondicional dejaron un legado de amor que se sentirá por generaciones. A lo largo de su vida, Belem fue una fuente de inspiración, enseñándonos el valor del trabajo duro, la amabilidad y la importancia de la familia. Le sobreviven sus hijos Teresa, Marta, Rosa, Ana, Juan, Oscar y Fausto. Sus 18 nietos, sus bisnietos, y muchos amigos que la extrañarán profundamente. Se celebrará un servicio memorial el 13 de Octubre en 525 Dundee Ave. East Dundee, ILempezando a las 12 PM. El espíritu de Belem vivirá por siempre en nuestros corazones, recordándonos atesorar cada momento y amar con fervor"
